THM GmbH originates in aircraft construction. There, the former manager and owner of the company, Thomas Mertin, was in charge of approval and testing for the homologation of small airplanes made of fibre composites, the most significant foundations of the current quality assurance at THM GmbH.

Today, THM, with a staff of at present 15 -20 employees, designs and produces many different products mostly using carbon fibre reinforced plastic. For 3 years we leverage RTM - manufacturing technique for series production which causes a major improvement on our knowledge about prform technique. The research centers on uniting the needs of lightweight but extremely solid components. THM GmbH produces the lightest carbon bicycle crank for cycles.
